Two-time AAUW-ODC scholarship recipient (2018 and 2017), Rumana Rabbani was selected in 2020-2021 as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Research Scholar.

She is currently shaping her future as an activist researcher-practitioner, but she believes the forefront of her research will involve co-designing with community members.

”Because of  the AAUW Scholarship I have been able to support myself as a single parent graduate student to strive to make a systems change addressing racial equity and justice for communities of color through my activism research with Community Health Workers.”
