Fellowships | Grants | National AAUW

AAUW is one of the world’s largest sources of funding for graduate women. In the 2021-2022 academic year 260 women and community projects will receive nearly $5 million in scholarships and grants. These awards enable women to overcome barriers to education and to become leaders in business, government, academia, community activism and the arts and sciences. Due to the generous contributions of women like you these scholarships allow another group of recipients to forge new paths in scholarships by easing the pressure of financing academic and community work.

“It was a privilege meeting the AAUW NC chapter and sharing my work with all of you. I feel so blessed to be here. Thank you again for the invite.”

“Nothing is more powerful and real than telling your own story. In my application, I simply wrote about my career journey, my challenges and how my passion for enhancing gender equality motivates me. If you really think about it, you will see that you also have a compelling story to tell.”
